These Terms of Service govern purchases and downloads from Astron Audio at astronaudio.com and the use of our software, plugins, and other digital products. “Astron Audio,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the provider of this store and its products. Please read these terms before ordering or downloading and retain a copy for your records.

1. Eligibility and orders

You must have legal capacity to enter into a contract, or act with the authorization of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law. If purchasing for a business, you must be authorized to act for it. Provide accurate order and contact information and use an authorized payment method.

Prices, currencies, applicable taxes, product contents, and any promotional conditions are shown at purchase. Changes to future prices do not alter completed orders. If an order contains an obvious pricing or listing error, we will contact you to resolve it or cancel and refund the affected order where permitted by law; we will not charge a higher price without your agreement. We may decline or cancel fraudulent or unauthorized orders, subject to applicable law.

2. Digital delivery and compatibility

Our products are delivered electronically; no physical item is shipped. Download instructions and, where applicable, license keys are provided through the delivery process described for the product. Download and license emails may arrive separately. Check your spam folder and contact us if delivery is missing.

Before purchasing, review the product’s published operating-system, plugin-format, host, hardware, and activation requirements. You are responsible for maintaining a compatible setup and backups of your projects and authorized installers. We do not promise compatibility with every host, third-party application, or future operating-system release. This does not limit our responsibility to supply products that meet their descriptions and applicable legal requirements.

3. Software is licensed, not sold

Your purchase or authorized free download grants a limited, non-exclusive license to install and use the product for your own creative work, subject to these terms and any product-specific license terms disclosed before purchase or download. Ownership of the software, source code, interface artwork, trademarks, documentation, and supplied product assets remains with Astron Audio or the relevant rights holder.

Device limits, authorized users, license duration, and activation requirements are those stated for the particular product. A device allowance does not authorize sharing a license with other users. Free products and products without activation remain subject to their license restrictions. You may keep reasonable backup copies for your own authorized use.

A license described as perpetual does not expire merely through the passage of time. It does not, by itself, promise every future major version, lifetime support, or permanent availability of online services. Termination is subject to Section 10 and applicable law.

4. Your music and creative output

You may use our plugins to create, process, publish, distribute, and sell your own music and other audio productions, including commercial work for clients. Astron Audio claims no ownership of your original creative output and charges no royalty solely for using our plugins in that work.

This permission does not authorize distributing the plugin itself, its license key, or supplied product files as standalone assets. Any separate license for included samples, sound libraries, or other third-party content governs that content and must be respected. You remain responsible for obtaining rights to material you use in your productions.

5. No unauthorized sharing or redistribution

Except where expressly permitted by us or by mandatory law, you may not:

• Share, publish, upload, mirror, distribute, or otherwise provide our installers, binaries, license keys, activation files, or other product files to others, including free products.
• Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, lend, or transfer a product license without our prior written authorization, except where applicable law grants a transfer right.
• Allow unauthorized users to use your license, or offer access to the software itself through a shared service without permission. Providing your own mixing, mastering, or production services remains permitted.
• Crack the software, bypass licensing or activation controls, create unauthorized keys, or remove copyright or ownership notices.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or modify the software except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law, including protected interoperability rights.
• Repackage our products or assets as your own, or imply that an unauthorized product or service is endorsed by Astron Audio.

You are welcome to share links to our public product pages so others can obtain their own authorized copies. Contact us about any proposed license transfer or distribution arrangement.

6. Activation and license security

Where a product requires activation, keep your license key private and follow its published activation and device limits. Activation may involve processing license and device information as described in our Privacy Policy. Internet and offline-use requirements vary by product; a product sold with permanent offline authorization after activation retains that entitlement subject to lawful license termination. Contact support if you need assistance with a device change or activation limit.

7. Returns, refunds, and cancellation rights

Digital purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated otherwise. Our Return & Refund Policy explains the applicable terms, support process, and remedies for defective products or billing errors.

Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights. Where local law provides a cancellation period for digital content, any loss of that right depends on the legally required consent, acknowledgment, and commencement of supply. These terms alone do not constitute a separate express consent or acknowledgment where one is required.

8. Updates and support

Support is available at support@astronaudio.com. Include your product, order details where applicable, operating system, host version, and a description of the problem. Do not send passwords or payment-card details.

Unless expressly included with a product or required by law, future features, major upgrades, and compatibility updates are not guaranteed. We may change future product offerings or discontinue services, but this does not remove accrued rights, mandatory update obligations, or an existing perpetual license merely because an offering is discontinued.

9. Store use, privacy, and third parties

Do not use the store for fraud, unlawful activity, distributing malicious code, unauthorized access, or actions that disrupt its operation. Protect any account credentials you use and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.

Our store uses Shopify and other service providers for functions such as payments, downloads, licensing, and communications. Their applicable terms may govern your direct use of their services; this does not remove our obligations to you. Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Marketing preferences are managed separately from these terms. Unsubscribing from marketing does not terminate an existing product license.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend affected access or terminate an affected license for a material breach, including piracy, unauthorized redistribution, or fraudulent acquisition, to the extent permitted by law. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve a remediable breach. Any action will be proportionate to the issue and will not override mandatory consumer rights.

If a license is lawfully terminated, you must stop using the affected product and remove unauthorized copies. A full refund that ends the license has the same effect. This does not require removal of creative output you lawfully produced before termination. Provisions concerning ownership, restrictions, accrued obligations, and liability survive to the extent relevant.

11. Warranties and liability

We will honor the product descriptions, express commitments, and statutory guarantees that apply to your purchase. Subject to those obligations, we do not guarantee that software will be entirely error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every particular creative purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties that may lawfully be excluded and liability for indirect or consequential losses. For business customers only, to the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from a product is limited to the amount paid for that product. This business limitation does not apply to purchases made as a consumer.

No provision excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies remain unaffected.

12. Applicable terms and disputes

Product-specific license terms disclosed and agreed before purchase or download control over these general terms on the same subject. Mandatory law takes precedence over both. Separate third-party or open-source licenses govern the components to which they apply.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern. These terms do not require arbitration, waive class actions, or restrict access to courts or consumer remedies available under applicable law. Governing law and jurisdiction are determined by applicable law, including mandatory protections in your place of residence.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive it.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms for future transactions and will show the revised date above. Changes do not retroactively reduce rights attached to a completed purchase or existing license without your agreement where required by law.
